Kylee Maughan: Podcast Interview w/ Kaelynn
===
[00:00:00]
Kylee Ann Maughan: I went down to pick, take my Sunday nap, and I literally, like, sat up from bed and was like, "You need to stop coaching."
And it was, like, one of those, like, moments of, like, Lisa- Kai's family leaving Jerusalem. Like, I have... This is, like, a huge source of income for us. It has been for a decade.
Kaelynn Priest: Kylie Maughan and I have been connected through the Instagram interwebs for seven, eight years now, which feels like a lifetime. We first connected when Kylie was the brand photographer for my e-commerce brand, Poppy Seed Play, and have just been friends ever since. And when I launched my course, my Etsy course, she invited me to come on her podcast, and now I finally get to return the favor and have her on my podcast.
I was scrolling through Instagram last week and saw Kylie post something in her stories that stopped me in my tracks. She said that she's officially setting down [00:01:00] the entire course, coaching, mentorship, education leg of her business, which is basically half of her business. I don't actually know how much revenue it makes up of her business, but she shared on the episode that this is equivalent to over six figures in yearly income for her.
That, she is setting down for right now, and that really caught my attention. I've actually helped Kylie launch some of her courses and digital products, and they're really, really valuable, but she also has an entire half of her business that's asking for a lot from her, and she also shares on the ep- episode a demanding calling too.
So this really stood out to me in terms of the Simplify and Multiply workshop that I have coming up, because I feel like there are not enough coaches and mentors talking about how slowing down, simplifying, [00:02:00] reducing your offer suite can actually be your biggest growth hack. So I invited Kylie on the show to talk a little bit about what she's up to, what she's changing in her business, what she is...
how she's thinking about it, and what's coming up next for her in hopes that you might use some of this as inspiration for your own business. Are there things in your business that you can set down, that you can simplify, that you can cut some of the tasks out of and still make just as much money, if not even more?
Let's get into it
So tell us about what Kylie Maughan is up to these days.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes, so I have had a photography business for 15 years, and right now it's just all photography. By day we're doing product photography, by night we're doing family photography. I have an associate team of six photographers currently and an [00:03:00] editor, VA marketing assistant. So a lot of team management and helping them fill their schedules as well, so it's a full schedule.
Also three kids, sports, a very big calling at church right now that takes up a lot of my time, and just, you know, just a lot of busy, busy mom life
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. your husband's also in the product industry
too. Tell us a little bit about that
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, so my husband is the president of Mane Hair, and that is a company based out of Provo, Utah, and it is really cool. It was a couple... Well, actually, I really started with the wife. She was a hair influencer, and she was just constantly doing hairstyles and whatever, and I'm gonna botch the story a little bit I'm sure, but she was getting asked, "What do you use in your girls' hair?"
And all this, and she just felt like she couldn't re- recommend it, 'cause it wasn't clean and it wasn't, like, good. And so she and her husband created a product that would do the slick back and do all the things, but, like, can brush [00:04:00] out and not damage their hair, and not have to use, like, harsh chemicals to get it out.
And it kind of just blew up and take o- took off. And my husband had consulted with them from the beginning of it, and then when they were ready to, like, all go in on it they brought him along. So it's been super fun. That's also super busy right now, but it's been really good
Kaelynn Priest: So cool. So the reason why I reached out to Kylie, Kylie and I have been connected for years through various businesses. Kylie was my main, actually only, product photographer for Poppy Seed Play, and absolutely adore you, your work, Kylie, and your team, and just refer everyone to you all the time.
Kylee Ann Maughan: You're the best, seriously
Kaelynn Priest: with that being said, I saw something in your stories...
Oh, let me also add this. So not only has Kylie, in the last couple of years, multiple years, had her product, her photography business, her associate team, she's also been coaching, teaching, educating, creating courses, digital products. And Kylie and I [00:05:00] also worked on projects related to that side of her business too, but it almost felt like you had two businesses going
Kylee Ann Maughan: Mhm.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Ja, ja
Kaelynn Priest: And then just last week I saw on your stories you made a big decision.
So fill us in on
that.
Kylee Ann Maughan: yeah. So yeah, I guess the backstory's important here because if you don't know that it's a big deal, then you're like, "Yeah, whatever." So for the last, over a decade, I have been, like, like she said, coaching coaching other photographers, other moms in business. I've had a podcast. It used to be Kylie Mentors Moms, and then it was the CEO of Photog Club.
I've spoke at c- like stages big and small. I've taught workshops, sleepovers is what I called them, all across, like, the nation. Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Bear Lake, just everywhere Arizona, and I ... That's been a really huge part of my business. I've just really invested a lot. Last year, I spent, like, over...
Ugh, gosh, I can't remember how much I spent. It was, like, $50,000 on a coach to [00:06:00] expand my coaching business. Like, I'm good on the photography side. It's been very s- stable and growing for years, but I really wanted to dive more into coaching. And I was really successful last year. I made all that money back and more, tripled that investment, and it was going really good.
But at the same time it has felt heavy. It has not felt like... It's kind of felt like something I've had to, like, drag along, and I'm like, I made a six-figure income doing it and it was very successful, but it, it didn't feel good. And so when fall approached this year, I've actually been putting things off a lot, and I'm not a procrastinator at all.
That's not my personality. If I wanna do something, I just do it. If I wanna launch a course, I'll make the course. I'll launch it within a week. Like, and so yeah, and so I'm like, I just, I don't know why this feels so heavy. I talked to my therapist about it. I talked to... I'm trying to think. I've talked to someone else.
Oh, I talked to my mastermind about it. I'm in a mastermind every other week. I'm like, I just, it just, something is [00:07:00] not... And I could not get answers. And so I finally kind of was like, "Oh, maybe I'll launch this thing, or maybe I'll do this," because I didn't wanna do what I did last year. It just wa- it felt heavy.
And then my kids actually went down to Maine with my husband. They had a weekend where they were switching, like, from bags to boxes, and he was like, "I gotta be down there all weekend." And I was like, "Okay, then take all the children, because you can't leave me here." It's been, it was the first week of school, first week waking up at s- you know, 6:00 again, and then, like, sports started, and I was just so overwhelmed.
But I had to stay back for my church calling and for some photo shoots. So he took all the kids, and my house was completely empty, and which is, like, the best feeling. For two days, I had no one in my house. Isn't that every mom's dream, to be alone in their own house? Like, not at a hotel, their own house.
Kaelynn Priest: So
Kylee Ann Maughan: And I was just thinking about it and, like, I h- didn't have time. Like, I just, I don't have time to launch this. I don't have time, blah, blah, blah. And I was praying about it and thinking about it and studying, and then I went down to pick, take my Sunday nap, and I literally, like, [00:08:00] sat up from bed and was like, "You need to stop coaching."
And it was, like, one of those, like, moments of, like, Lisa- Kai's family leaving Jerusalem. Like, I have... This is, like, a huge source of income for us. It has been for a decade. Like, it's also, like, passive income. It doesn't require, like, once you have the course, you just sell the course and you make, you know, good income.
It's, like, different than my other side of my business where every, like, shoot that I do, I have to go do the shoot, you know? And so it was like, whoa, that's a huge shift in my business. And, but at the same time, overwhelming peace of like, "Yes, this is what I need to do." Instantly, like within that minute, so I didn't take the nap, I don't think.
I got up, I changed my bio, like, instantly. I'm like, I am not gonna say I'm a coach anymore. I'm not gonna... I took the podcast off my bio that I just had relaunched. Like, I'm like, "I'm not gonna do this." I, What else did I do? I just did... Oh, I [00:09:00] took my to-do list. My to-do list that was, like, all the things I wanted to launch this fall, just deleted it, and I just felt, like, instant peace right away.
It felt like the mental load already, like, all the things I had to do and all the things that I wasn't doing, and, "Oh, gosh," like, "This is the ideal time to launch something." And you know, as a creator, you're like, "If I push this off and launch it in November, no one's gonna buy it, or January." You're like, "This is my best launch month, and so why can I create..."
All of that disappeared. It was like, oh. And it felt like my content clicked. Like, oh, this will be fun. I'm just gonna show behind-the-scenes of my actual photography. Like, I don't have to come up with education posts and carousels on how to do this or how to do that. And I was excited to just, like, put all of my behind-the-scenes that I've been taking into action.
I unfollowed all of the coaches. I don't know about you, but it feels like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah all over my feed right now. Yep, challenge. Do better carousels. Do... And I [00:10:00] bought them, and they're great, but it just... What I hate is it's just the pressure. The pressure of like, like, you have to do more.
You have to do more. Like, and I'm like, oh, I could do that. I have the skills to do that, so I should just do it. And so I was just wanting to do all these things, and seeing them surprising with my husband with how much I made in my launch, and I'm seeing that over and over and over. And this pressure of like, "Oh, geez," like, "My launches aren't going that good.
Maybe I need to do that. Maybe I need to buy that course so that it will go that way." And I just got in that cycle. So, I unfollowed everyone, and it's been so nice.
Kaelynn Priest: Wow. So I wanna, like, hear even more about what it's like to run two businesses because most people don't have that experience, but a lot of people accidentally create that experience, where people ask me all the time, "Should I start a new Instagram feed and educational content and actually serve my clients?"
And I'm always like, "Do [00:11:00] whatever you can do to not create two Instagram feeds, please, for your own
Kylee Ann Maughan: I have so many Instagram feeds, it's crazy. Okay, so yeah, so logistically I think that's why I'm split so much. So I have three active Instagram accounts. I have some other ones that are for other things that aren't that active, like the podcast one and, like, one for our Airbnb that
Kaelynn Priest: Ja
Kylee Ann Maughan: are dead. But three active ones because I kind of have three seg- I had three segments in my business.
I had the coaching segment w- that kind of encompasses the podcast, and then I had the commercial side of photography, which is shooting products and shooting brands and head shots and website pictures and Amazon and all that kind of stuff, and then I have, like, my family and wedding and portrait clients.
So it's tricky because you kind of have to have the different Instagram accounts to hit the right demographic.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: So yeah, it's a lot of work, and we are very active on all of the things, social media, [00:12:00] blogging, marketing, email marketing, all the things, but that's a lot of work, so I've actually had to, you know, hire help to be able to sustain all of that.
So I have someone who posts on the Kylie Ann Studios and Kylie Ann Commercial, and I only do my own page, Kylie Ann Mahin, and that's all me all the time. I've never really outsourced that. So now what that looks like is I can post whatever I want because the coaching page is not really a coaching page anymore, and so now I'm posting a little bit of commercial, a little bit of portrait, a little bit- bit behind the scenes, my family life, and I'm like, "Oh, this is so nice.
I don't have to follow any rules." And I think people actually enjoy it. Like,
Kaelynn Priest: sure
Kylee Ann Maughan: is actually more entertaining than the educational stuff."
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. it's funny when it's like, when you feel like, when you know marketing so well, you're like, "I know exactly what to do. I know the boxes to check. I know I've gotta get the educational content out there. I've gotta bust the objections. I've gotta be visible. I've gotta make sure people know I exist."
And then there's a day when you're like, "I just wanna show, like, what I'm meal prepping in my [00:13:00] kitchen today."
Kylee Ann Maughan: yes,
Kaelynn Priest: I just
Kylee Ann Maughan: yes. And people like it, yeah.
Kaelynn Priest: love it so
Kylee Ann Maughan: But I just didn't have time to do that, 'cause I had to check the boxes. And I would, I mean, my stories have always been personal for the last 15 years. But, like, just creating the reels and the whatever, and just being, like, free with it. The other thing is I feel like I'm way more free with my time.
So another piece of this was that I had to time block my schedule so hard to make th- this work. So I had a podcasting day, I had a coaching day, I had shoot days. And so then when things were busy in one thing, it would flood over, and I just had no extra time. And it just felt really overwhelming, and I had to, like, stay so strict on my schedule.
Like, podcast from 10:00 to 12:00, and then shoot from 12:00 to 1:00, and then edit before the kids get home from school. Now, it's like this morning I was literally just sitting on the couch. We have a little couch in my husband's home office. He works here and in Provo sometimes too. And I was just sitting there with my feet up on his desk, and I was just like, you know, just shooting the breeze.
And I was like, "I [00:14:00] really should be doing something right now." He's like, "No, I like when you're in here." And I'm like, "Yeah." Like, it's okay now because I don't have to be so scheduled, because I let go of a whole side of my business and it just opened up so much. And when I go shoot in the studio now, I don't feel rushed.
I feel like I could take an extra... Like, even though this is an hour shoot, I can take two hours 'cause I don't have anything after this. And so that's fun because I can be more creative or listen to a book or call a friend while I'm shooting flat lays or just, like, less da, da, da, da, da, you know?
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. Yeah. Can you say a little bit about the role that the Spirit and your faith and testimony have had in this transition for you?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, so like I said, like, I feel like it was the Spirit that just came right in and was, like, just this clear... And that's kind of how I get inspiration. Like, you need to hire this person, or you need to do this thing or whate- It just kind of pops into my brain, and I, like, sit up and can't do anything until I act on it kind of a thing.
So that initial thing, but [00:15:00] then all of the blessings, I started writing them down. Like, I, I have a list of, of everything. So the first was just the mental clarity and the peace that I had been missing and, like, feeling whatever. Then someone for, like, the fourth time, someone had sent me Elder Kieran's talk from the BYU Education Week.
And I listened to it in the shower the next day, and I was like, "Oh, my gosh." It just felt like another, like, testament of slow down, take a, a load off. Like, it's okay. Like, you don't have to be productive and do everything that you know you can do, and that's the hard thing, I think. I'm capable of running two businesses.
I have been for a million years. I'm capable of launching something. I'm capable of probably making a six-figure launch. Like, I'm capable of it, and I see the YAP Challenge, and I see the Carousel Challenge, and I see the whatever, and I know I could do those things, 'cause I have good follow-through, and I, like, have the business sense and whatever.
I know I would do it. But it was just kind of like you don't have to do everything. Like, you [00:16:00] can slow down. So that was the next little, like, inkling. And then, this is so crazy, so then the same day, I think, that I listened to that talk, maybe the talk was on day one, the same day. The next day my husband called me, and he said...
And again, this is, like, a six-figure income that disappeared. He said "I just got a 50% raise. They are going to give me a f- a 50% raise starting immediately." And I was... It was, like, just this flood of, like, more chills than calmness of like, okay, like, God already had a plan. And I love that I cut back on coaching first.
Kaelynn Priest: Mm-hmm
Kylee Ann Maughan: it wasn't like, "Oh, good, now I can cut back on coaching."
Kaelynn Priest: Ага
Kylee Ann Maughan: It was like, "You did the thing, and here's... You know? See, I had a... I already had a way this was gonna work out." And that was, like, a huge, like, another testam- testament of, like, trusting. And again, like Lehi leaving Jerusalem, I always thought about that [00:17:00] as a kid.
I was like, "Would our family leave our home and start a new home because God told us to?" And I felt like this was kind of that of, like, you're leaving behind... Like, I, in total, I've made over a million dollars in coaching
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: over the last decade, easily. 'Cause just one course I've made 700,000, I think. So-
It's multiple million dollar income that I just put down.
And it might not be forever. It's for right now. It was kind of like for the next six months was the first impression,
See how that goes, and then whatever happens, happens. But, like, this period of my life with my calling and with my responsibilities and with everything else going on, and my husband's career taking off, put it down.
And so that was huge. And then I had a massage later that day. And my massage lady's very intuitive, and she's just like, "I feel like you need this song." And she turned on this song called Slowing Down, and it was just literally this lady singing s- and I hadn't told her anything. "Slow down." [00:18:00] Like, the whole time it was like, "Slow down."
I'm like, "What is happening?" It's
Kaelynn Priest: I know the exact song you're
Kylee Ann Maughan: you know what I'm talking about? I don't even know. I need to... I don't even know what the song was. I, I still, like, I should probably look it back up and read it, listen to it again. But I'm like, "Okay." And then day three, I had two... Before 10:00 AM, I had two new brands that came from a video posting the behind the scenes of shooting brands.
And so it's just like, okay, you know what? Oh, and even though I took coaching off and I took, I turned off ads, so I had ads running. I was p- spending a ton o- a week on ads, and I was selling this course and it was working. I turned my ads off, which I think is a huge thing, 'cause I could have just been like, "Okay, I'll stop coaching, but I'll keep the ads on."
But I was like, "No, we're gonna turn them off." I turned everything off, and I had, like, four people check out with my course just from my website.
Kaelynn Priest: Oh,
Kylee Ann Maughan: So I was like, okay,
Kaelynn Priest: Okay,
Kylee Ann Maughan: is crazy. I'm like, yeah, this person was like, "Okay, I'm finally ready to take the plunge," so instant $1,000. And I'm like, okay, whoa. Like, [00:19:00] I'm not even saying I'm a coach.
Me just naturally being a photographer is gonna push people there, and I don't have to sell anything.
It's gonna be natural.
Kaelynn Priest: yet
Kylee Ann Maughan: I'm not gonna take them down, but I'm not gonna push it, you
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah.
Kylee Ann Maughan: anyways, to answer your question, I just felt like the initial prompting, but then all the blessings that just came right after, like, see?
Like, we know what we're doing up here. Like, good job. So it was good.
Kaelynn Priest: So I know about you that you are, like, an insanely fast action taker, like, probably, like, the fastest action taker that I know. it sounds like... So, again, we've already said this is a significant amount of income, right? This is not
like a couple thousand dollars a month that you're purposely setting down, that you're purposely leaving on the table, if that's even okay to say that, which is going to come to you in other ways, as we've talked about.
But I wanna hear, doesn't sound like you've had any, like, sadness about this. It sounds
Kylee Ann Maughan: [00:20:00] no.
Kaelynn Priest: s- the... What, what has made it not hard for you to make this decision?
Kylee Ann Maughan: I feel like I think it's one of my, like, spiritual gifts of, like, when I get a prompting that's so strong and act on it, I just am just gonna believe it's gonna work out. And I know not, I know that's hard for some people, but it's something that just comes, it's come naturally. I, I'm grateful for it because it's helped me a lot in my business, I feel like, of like, this is what you have to do.
Okay, I'm gonna just do it, and d- and just trust it. And I think that, and just knowing, like, I am filling my time with so many other things. It's not like I... Oh my gosh, like, I don't have anything to do now. I let go of this thing. You know, it's like, oh, this just helps me figure out everything else a little bit better and, like, you know, just have a little bit more, like, flow in my day.
And just, like, I don't know, I just, I'm just riding the faith and the trust that it's all gonna work out, and it already is,
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah, like literally it already is,
which is so cool. Sometimes the, [00:21:00] the gap in between is a little bit longer . It
doesn't... That's the
part we don't have the,
any control over, so it's really cool to see that you've already... I'm thinking of you receive no witness until after the trial of your faith, right?
It's like
Kylee Ann Maughan: Mm-hmm.
Kaelynn Priest: happened within like, it sounds like a matter of a week for
you or even less, which is
Kylee Ann Maughan: like 24 hours almost. But at the same time, I think maybe this has been a prompting I've been having for a long time, and it- I finally acted on it. Because why have I been being... Why has it felt like I'm dragging and drag- Like, maybe I- maybe if I had prayed about it sooner, or maybe if I had, had admitted to be slower sooner.
You know what I mean? Like, maybe it's actually been a while
Kaelynn Priest: That actually gave me chills.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, that's what I kinda think maybe is more what happened because it just didn't click and it wasn't clicking, and n- normally things click for me. And I think it was like, "Hey, this isn't right, this isn't right, this isn't right," and I just kept trying to push it and force it[00:22:00]
Kaelynn Priest: Can you say a little bit more about that? I'm thinking of, you know, a lot of my listeners are super early in their business journey, some that are farther along too. But can you say a little bit more about how to differentiate between am I forcing this, and I'm doing this and it's really hard work and I'm learning, and I'm figuring out the learning curve, and that's a good thing?
How, How,
like, what would,
like, if you were coaching someone, how would you coach someone,
through that?
Kylee Ann Maughan: I feel like following your energy is really important, first of all. And so if things are naturally flowing and going, follow that. However, not everything is gonna flow and be smooth, even if it's a good thing. And so I- how you differentiate that, I feel like maybe, for me, I'm a like a take one step forward, take one step forward, take one step forward.
So I say don't stop. Whatever you're gonna do, you're gonna keep walking, like moving towards something, and then you'll feel... You'll keep moving towards it, and then till you're [00:23:00] like, "Okay, that's really not right. Let's move this direction," and you kinda pivot. So I think the best thing is just to don't stop, just keep moving forward.
And if you have to pivot, that's normal. We've pivoted
a million times, haven't we?
Kaelynn Priest: for
Kylee Ann Maughan: We've had lots of pivots in our business and life and I'm sure you feel the same way, like when you stopped doing Poppyseed and like it, it probably, you know, like this felt right, this felt right, this felt right. Now it doesn't feel right.
Okay, now we pivot.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: so things are going to... Like it- just because Poppyseed or coaching isn't what we're doing now, it wasn't right, it was right then, and it led us to the next thing, right? And so I feel like the, the worst thing you can do as a business owner or someone who wants to be a business owner or an entrepreneur is to stop.
Just keep moving, baby steps forward every single day. And also, you have to learn the difference between like discipline and motivation. You're not gonna wake up and feel motivated every day. Especially as women, we have our cycles, we have our [00:24:00] luteal phases, and there are just days and hormones and just children being up all night and,
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: you know, all of that, kids coming home sick.
My kid just came home sick from school. Like, we're gonna have those days that just kind of like ruin the flow. You can't use that as an excuse to not, to not move forward in your business. You have to stay disciplined. So even if it's just putting one action step on your to-do list every day and doing that action step so you're moving one step forward, that's like the best thing you can do.
Kaelynn Priest: Can you give us like, if we were a fly on the wall in your office right now in your house, like what does Kylie do to stay so stinking disciplined? Like, I just know from
watching your Instagram content that you are like always, always taking one step forward.
What is that like, what are some of your processes?
Kylee Ann Maughan: okay, so w- I try to, like, first of all keep, like, promises to myself. So one thing this year that has helped me a lot that I haven't been doing in the past is [00:25:00] when ... And we'll s- talk to me in two months when it's snowing. I don't know. I don't know what's gonna happen. But like, I, when my kids are at leave for the bus stop, I start my walk, and I go on a couple mile walk every morning at, like, 7:00 in the morning.
And so by the time I wake up my next kid for school at 8:00, I've already had 4,000 steps. I- there are many days that I haven't wanted to do this, including this morning. I didn't wanna do it. Time of month, I'm like, "I just don't feel good. I don't wanna go." There's been two days where my husband has driven my kids to the bus stop, and that could've been an easy excuse for me to be like, "Okay, then I'm not gonna..."
'Cause I walk them down to the bus stop and then keep walking. I just kept walking. He even drove them down today. I kept walking, walked past them, said goodbye to them again, and then, you know, whatever. So it's just that, like, just being like, I know I don't feel good, but I, if I don't do this, I'm not gonna do...
Y- like, it's I'm gonna fall out of the pattern. So it's hard because it's like, like, doing it anyway even when you don't feel good if it's something that's important to you. So I do the same thing with work. I know I have to post on social media. I know I have [00:26:00] to update my blog. I know I have to reach out to my clients.
So I actually put these things in my to-do list with dates. I use the Reminders app on my phone like, like no other. I have it categorized by, like, different things. I have it, like, you know, e- whatever, like, content I wanna post this week. And reach out to clients for their sessions this week. And it reminds me every Sunday night to do that for that week.
Or every, like, I'll put my content ideas as they come into my head, and then I'll put dates on them so that, like, I'm actually gonna do it. And then it will pop up on my to-do list, and then when I wake up, I look at my calendar and my to-do list and, and know what I have to do that day. And sometimes I put my to-do list into the calendar because I'm really good at keeping appointments.
So I know not everybody is, like, good at calendars or appointments, but you've gotta be good at something. Like, how do you get your kids to school every day? Or how are you, how are you getting to the doctor's appointments? What's your method to remember those things? And do the same thing for those [00:27:00] important things for the things in your business because if you, if y- you treat it like a, like a appointment rather than, "Oh, yeah, it's something I have to do," you know, you'll get it done.
Kaelynn Priest: Hmm. That's so good. I'm thinking of all the listeners who, like I said, are in the beginning of their business journey, and they're just like like just getting their momentum going on Instagram, and they're feeling stressed and overwhelmed about it. But it's like, you actually have a, an insight for someone who's getting started with marketing? I know you're a marketing genius. Like, for someone who has a business idea, she's got the foundations, she has a place for people to pay, now she needs the eyeballs, what would you recommend she does more consistently to get eyeballs?
Kylee Ann Maughan: I think you need to show all the behind the scenes of what you're doing. Like, if you're creating a course, show it. If you're doing the things that you're doing in your course, show it. If you're seeing results, if people are seeing results. I think people [00:28:00] are just posting, like, when they're launching something, and they forget about, like, all the in-between, and the intriguing like, "Oh, you do that every day?
Oh wow, that's why you're..." blank. You know? "That's why you do so well at this." And I know you guys, you have a broad range of courses that people are creating, or products, or events, and so I, I don't wanna give any specific examples. But you're all doing those things 'cause you're passionate about it, obviously, if you're selling it.
So showing that you're doing it, showing you working on your business, showing all of that it's easier content, too, to create, because it's just natural.
Kaelynn Priest: Yep
Kylee Ann Maughan: I think don't worry so much about it looking aesthetic or making it in Canva and making it cute, or having whatever. Just, like, be more, like, day-to-day, showing up.
Get in the habit of just, like, showing behind the scenes of your actual life. Like, now I'm 15 years in. I think people think I'm on social media all the time, but throughout the day, if I think of so- if I see something that's like, "Oh, that is, you know, beneficial [00:29:00] to showing what I do," I'll snap a picture.
It's literally, like, four seconds out of my day. At the end of the day, you know, that I've made four story posts. But it's a habit now of, like, when I'm doing something that's related to them or that's funny or that's whatever, posting it and connecting with my audience
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. So good. I'll tell clients, like, set an alarm on your phone for three times a day,
just ra- like, almost like the BeReal app,
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: whenever that alarm goes off, take a picture wherever you're
at and put it in your stories.
Like, we don't... It doesn't need to be more complicated than that, and that will probably actually work better than anything you
would make more complicated. Like, don't go make
a Canva graphic to put in your Exactly. Exactly. And
like,
Kylee Ann Maughan: and this, like in general, I know I'm a photographer, but in general, just take more pictures throughout your life, and then you'll have more content to share
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. That's so good. Okay, my other, another question I have for you is can you say a little bit about what you've l- what you've learned over your business, business [00:30:00] experience and just in the last recent while the magic of doing less? You
Kylee Ann Maughan: Ja
Kaelynn Priest: from Elder Kieran. I'm talking about it, the talk with people all day, every day it feels like.
Kylee Ann Maughan: I know. It's such a good talk
Kaelynn Priest: Such a good talk. So, like, I, I f- I actually don't know if I can think of another address that I've heard of that I felt like inspired me and called me to repentance in
Kylee Ann Maughan: Right? I'm
Kaelynn Priest: this
Kylee Ann Maughan: wow, this stuff... Well, and it's funny 'cause, like, literally multiple people sent it to me, so they're like also like, "Girl, you need this." You know? And I'm like, "You're right." And I heard it in a area meeting, and I heard it at, you know, different things. It's like, wow, we, like, people think I need this, but then everyone needs this too.
But, like, I know I needed it.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: yeah. So I would say, my friend Dion always says "If everything is important, nothing's important." And sh- it's like her little trademark. Every time I [00:31:00] hear it I can hear her voice saying it. And she is very smart. She has a PhD, and she's, has a, several books, and she's just really amazing.
And she just reminds me constantly that, like, you can, you can do everything, but things are gonna fall, and, like, you're gonna drop the balls and stuff. And oh, we just had a different lesson about dropping balls on Sunday. The, because of Christ- I can't remember. Oogdorf. No, it wasn't. I don't know.
Anyways, we just had the same talk of like when you're trying to keep them all up, like some are gonna fall, you know? And I think for me as just a busy mom very heavily involved in community and church and schools and, you know, all that kind of stuff if you don't drop some of the balls, like I know in the past I've had like serious health problems from taking on too much.
And, and I just think the magic of slowing down, you just are able to give more to [00:32:00] those balls that you keep up, you know? And in, in a way that's more like flowy and feels more, you know, that feminine energy instead of trying to control everything and keep everything in line. Like for me, as I've slowed more down over the years 'cause I feel like I went like this, and then I'm going like this.
I'm 15 years in, okay? And, you know, here's the other thing is my income, maybe not this year, but every year since 2011, has increased, including during COVID, including when I was breadwinner, including when I dropped certain things in my business, like we dropped weddings for a couple of years, like including COVID.
It continued to in- to grow as, and I was slowing down at the same time. Because you get things in order that are important, and then you have your systems, and you can delegate and you can hire, whatever. But then you're just focusing on the things that are most important. And when you're focusing just on the things that are most important and letting go of some of those other things, you're less busy, but you're still having the same impact.
And so I [00:33:00] think it's hard in the beginning of your business because there's so much to do and so much to create, and you have so many ideas. And so some of you might be listening and being like, "There's no way, like, I can slow down right now." Just know you're in that li- little hump, and it's not forever.
And, and when you do start letting go of the things that don't matter, and maybe y- maybe it's the aesthetics of your thing and not using Canva and just using the, you know, Instagram stories, whatever. Like, you know, maybe it's just dumb stuff like that. But letting go of some of the stuff that doesn't matter just allows so much room for so many beautiful, like, relationships and other things to grow in their place that do matter.
Kaelynn Priest: And I feel like there's a lot that we could say about, you know, I feel like for myself, my business, like, collects tasks like, you know, the, the
more my
Kylee Ann Maughan: ja
Kaelynn Priest: the more like, "Oh, now I gotta do my bookkeeping. Well, now I
gotta, now I gotta... My, I hired the virtual assistant, now she's asking me for the just podcast show notes," you know?
So it's like, fah, there's always more
Kylee Ann Maughan: [00:34:00] Mhm
Kaelynn Priest: feel like there's a lot that we could learn about how many of the tasks we spend time on that don't actually make a difference.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: myself, like, if I were to actually get super clear about what my revenue-generating activities are, probably, you know, the 80, 80%, 20% rule.
There's a word for that, the Pareto principle or something like that, where 20% of your result- 80% of your results come from 20% of your actions, I think
Kylee Ann Maughan: Угу
Kaelynn Priest: true for myself, for sure. I wanna hear, and I were chatting in the DMs about, like, I wish there were more people, especially in the business coaching, mentorship industry, leading the charge with what we're talking about, about doing less.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Угу
Kaelynn Priest: adding more, buy more courses, get
Kylee Ann Maughan: Mm-hmm.
Kaelynn Priest: more mentor- mentorship, do more, wish there were more people showing how doing less can actually be a very strategic, smart business decision. I
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah.
Kaelynn Priest: say about [00:35:00] that.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, it's interesting 'cause I was thinking about this. Now that I don't have to do coaching, I don't have to share my income. I don't have to share, you know what I mean? Like, I don't have to share, "Oh, I make this much in photography and I do this and I do that." Like, I can literally just focus on, like, photography and, and doing a good job and, like, it...
My clients don't need to know how much I make.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: But when I was coaching, it was, like, kind of this credibility thing.
Kaelynn Priest: Yep
Kylee Ann Maughan: And so it's hard because now I'm not gonna, like, influ- like, I just feel like I don't need to talk about slowing down because it doesn't matter to the co- like, I'm not coaching, you know what I mean?
And I think that's probably what's happening with other people that are slowing down. No one's talking about slowing down because they're slowing down
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah,
Kylee Ann Maughan: and they're not coaching. I think more people are slowing down than we think, but all we're hearing on Instagram is, "Join this challenge, make this money.
You can make this much in three days, and look how much I made, and, and I'm surprising my husband with how much I made." That storyline, I s- yesterday, I saw three different [00:36:00] people surprising their husband with how much they made in a launch. And I'm like, "What is happening?" You know? And I'm so, like, I think that's so awesome, and I'm so glad, but that's, like, the loudest content, and that's not the norm.
And the other thing that is frustrating is that all the people that are making that money, and I just saw an in- educator talking about this Everyone who's making that kind of money is teaching people how to make money on social media.
Kaelynn Priest: Exactly
Kylee Ann Maughan: one is selling... Like, all the people that are listening right now are probably selling, you know, like, "I'm selling sourdough.
I'm selling you know, this faith-based whatever. I'm selling this." They're not the ones making a million dollars in three days. It's the people that want more money that are... It's this circle.
Kaelynn Priest: Yep
Kylee Ann Maughan: I realize that it's this loop over here of people selling how to make money on courses, making a bunch of money, and then selling more people on how to make more.
And, and it's all over here in this circle. And I don't wanna sell how to make money on social media.
Kaelynn Priest: Yep.
Kylee Ann Maughan: And so I couldn't get in that circle, and I think a lot of people are realizing that, like, it's hard to get in [00:37:00] that circle if you're not selling people. I also think people who make a ton of followers in a short amount of time are selling people on how to make better posts on social media, how da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
It's all social media circle over here. And so if you, like, put that circle away for a minute and then just, like, take a breath, and I think that's what, like, clicked for me in that, in this, in this whole thing. I'm like, oh, like, you know, everyone else is just doing nor- Like, I don't know. I... And I'm not really even a comparison person, but it was just kind of loud in my face, "Make this money.
Make this money. Ma-" And it's like, oh, that sounds nice. But as soon as you silence it, it's so much better.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah。
Kylee Ann Maughan: It's so much better because I'm like, I probably wasn't gonna make a million dollars in three days. Plus, I don't wanna talk about making a million dollars in three days.
Kaelynn Priest: Right
Kylee Ann Maughan: then when I make the million dollars in three days, I'm gonna have to keep talking about making a mill- Like, I just...
To do that the same way that they're doing it felt like something that would be hard for me, like I wouldn't want to do, [00:38:00] 'cause I don't even really like talking about my income, but I know I have to to tell people that it's working. You know what I mean? Like, it's just hard.
Kaelynn Priest: Right
Kylee Ann Maughan: and so anyways, in a roundabout way the, the answer is just it's felt so just freeing to just be on social media, to just be on social media.
I don't even need to be on there that long anymore. It's just, like, you know, see my, my few little friends, whatever, and pop off and not try to, like, get on trend and, and oh, now what are we doing on Stories? Now what are we doing on algorithm? Oh, now how do we do... How... You know how many ad classes I've taken in the last year?
Like, it's just a lot, and it just feels like my brain is quiet.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. And I'll also say too, there was a while where I was shopping for ad classes, and then when you shop for ad classes, you get a million ads about ad classes. And it was like, literally everyone is selling courses about funnels and ads and
Kylee Ann Maughan: Угу
Kaelynn Priest: just like, well, now I feel like imposter syndrome 'cause I'm getting all these ads from people [00:39:00] who clearly know what they're doing better than I I
do. But I think the next time we ha- I have you on, on part two we're gonna talk about the weird triangular coaching
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: that happens with love, because both of you and I have... You and I have both participated in being mentors, and I believe have blessed a lot of lives. And also there's a point where it's like, wow, making money online isn't actually the most important part of my life.
I actually have a
lot of other cool thoughts and things that I want to share and teach people and influence people about, or de-influence people about, you know?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Mm-hmm. Exactly
Kaelynn Priest: I, I wanted to ask you about is related to your calling, because I hear
nobody talking about this.
Um, but it's a thing that every single one of us, well, not all, most of us who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints who are running businesses are experiencing the dynamic of I only have so many hours in a day. I have my business, which I love and want to run, and don't wanna stop running. [00:40:00] Now I have a calling that's also gonna take up a certain amount of time. Can you tell us a little bit about how you are making that work behind the scenes for
you?
Kylee Ann Maughan: yeah. So when I got the calling, so I'm in the relief society presidency right now. When I got the calling, I, like, I knew it would be, like, a big calling, but I, like, had no idea. Like, I- if they would've been like, "This is gonna add, like, an extra 10 hours a week to your life," I would've probably been like, "Heck, no."
There's no- there's not 10 hours in the week.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: but I s- you know, I said yes and instantly was hard. Like, it instantly was a hard calling for everyone, like, for all of us, not just me. Our president works full-time, 8:00 to 5:00, 9:00 to 5:00. A- and she's amazing, and the first, the second counselor also works full-time.
So it was kind of helpful 'cause I was like, "They do know I work, right?" And like, well, they all work, too. I'm like, okay, because I was worried, like, oh, they're gonna, you know, wanna have a meeting at 9:00 AM, you know, and, and this kind of stuff. So, it, it has been really hard, but at the same time I feel like I'm almost a [00:41:00] year in, and I feel like somehow my time has been multiplied.
Because I'm like, there is actually no way that I... And I started last year in October, and if you guys know photography, October is, like, tax season for accountants. It's the same for photographers. It is our busiest, busiest season, and I'm adding, all of a sudden, I have a, you know, a weekly meeting, and then I have this stake meeting I have to go to, and then I have this area meeting, and then, oh, President Uchtdorf is coming to town.
We gotta go see him. And it was so cool, but it's, like, a full Saturday. And then it's like, oh, and now you have this Sunday calling, and then you are now visiting people. And oh, someone just died, and someone just had a baby, and, you know, this big thing is happening, and this person's having surgery, and, like, it's just like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Like, there's so much going on.
Kaelynn Priest: ம்.
Kylee Ann Maughan: And I feel like I already was pretty involved, like, in service and, you know, in, in community and whatever. In addition to this, I am on the PTO board. I'm on [00:42:00] the community council for the school. I'm on the Women in Business board. I'm on the retreat committee for the Women in Business.
I am on a board for Bridgerland, which doesn't take a ton of time, but a couple times a year, it do- it's busier. So, like, I am on all of these things, and they're all good things, but it's, it is a lot. So for me, it's just been, like, knowing if I, you know, prioritize and put things in the right order, everything will work out.
And sometimes that feels exhausting. Like, at the end of the day, I'm like, "I am so done." But a lot of times it's like, wow, how did I fit all that in? Like, how was I able to do the meeting and serve the person and, you know, go to the funeral or go to the sealing or go to whatever and also, you know, be with my family and make dinner?
And, like, I don't know, it just feels like it's all worked out, even though it's been hard.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. Can you... Is there, this might be one of my last questions for you. Is there [00:43:00] a verse of scripture or a quote you often think about in regards to running your business as a woman of faith who has a lot of hats
Kylee Ann Maughan: Hmm.
Kaelynn Priest: she wears?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, that's a great question. I feel like something that I think of a lot, it's not a verse, but the Lord loves effort is something that I think of a lot, and sometimes it's not everything I can give and it's not my best, but it's, you know, it's like, you know, it's enough. It's effort. It's showing that I, you know, I put forth something towards that.
And then also, I like to think of stewardship within my business, too. You know, my stewardship over my clients, stewardship over my team, stewardship over the pictures that I do, and like thinking of it in that way of like, what would a b- good steward do, and how would they treat people, and how would they...
Like, it's not just like check, check, check, check. It's like being a steward over these experiences. And I think that helps me 'cause like even like before I get on a podcast or before I [00:44:00] get to a shoot, I'll, will say a prayer, like, "How can I serve this family the best way?" You know, like, and it's kind of instead of just being like, "I wanna take good pictures and be a good photographer," it's like thinking of them as people that I'm serving, you know?
And I think that has helped me a lot in the last 15 years
Kaelynn Priest: I actually love that so much, and I wish that more people were talking about that. Like, you know, a lot of people feel weird about sales and like, "Oh, but it's money that I'm transacting for people, and is that weird?" But it's like, no it's a transfer. It's a
trade. And also, my experience has been that it's a way for me to express so much love for people that the amount of love that I put into my workshops, my digital products, even my free Instagram content,
Kylee Ann Maughan: Угу
Kaelynn Priest: is a way for me to express love and kindness and charity to people.
And
so I think it's good for me, And it's good for them too
Kylee Ann Maughan: like do you ever get [00:45:00] those messages after that's like, "Wow, that was this course or this thing, this email you sent was the answer to my prayers." It's like, oh, okay. So I think we get so scared because we think of the money, but yeah, if you take the money out of the equation completely, like the money for me is handled like separately.
That, like when I get to a shoot they're like, "Did we pay you?" I'm like, "I don't know, probably." Like, that's all automated, it's all whatever, it's part of the business. But like what I'm focused on is the relationship, how I can serve people, how I can bless people. And I think if we just focus on that, the money is just like extra.
Kaelynn Priest: Yep
Kylee Ann Maughan: And obviously it's important, but I've never, that's never been the focus,
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: my, my business has always grown very well,
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah.
Kylee Ann Maughan: because the focus is people. People over profit, that book, I don't even know if I read the book, but just the concept of like if you focus on the people, the profit will come
Kaelynn Priest: That's so good. And honestly, a little life hack too, if you're someone who does get weird about like, "Okay, so now it's time for
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah.
Kaelynn Priest: like, [00:46:00] there
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah.
Kaelynn Priest: that into the system so
Kylee Ann Maughan: 100%. Make everything automated. I never... If I get to a session and they haven't paid yet, like I did a ceiling for someone I award, or like a baby blessing picture for someone I award, I, like, it, the money is brought up right before they commit to hiring me, and if it doesn't, that's a g- like, it's something that I'm just gonna gift.
Like, it's not something I bring up later or whatever. It's like, that's taken care of, and then the relationship is totally separate. Like, I don't do the thing and then ask for money. Like, I don't know, automate it so that it's not even something you have to touch. Like, I don't
Kaelynn Priest: Yep.
Kylee Ann Maughan: ever, have to touch that.
And I'm not afraid to say what my s- like, I'm a million years into this. Like, I'm like, either you hire me or you don't hire me, but I don't want it to be part of the experience. I want it to be, yeah, like-
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. I was talking to a friend who's a hairstylist, and we were working on, like, you've gotta have a system that collects payment,
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: either via email or text before or after. She's like, "I feel so [00:47:00] uncomfortable, and I wanna raise my prices, and I don't want people to be raising their eyebrows or making commentary."
And it's like,
easy. We're just gonna make an automated system
so you don't even have to.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, 'cause most of the time when I leave a nail appointment or I leave a hair appointment, they're like... I'm like, "So how much do I owe you?" And they're like just do f- just do 40 or just do 100." You know, and they're, like, awkward about it. I'm like, "I was ex- coming to expect you to pay," but it would be so much easier for them if they had it, if I paid beforehand.
I show up, and then I leave, and it's not about the money. It's about the experience.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah
Kylee Ann Maughan: 'Cause I've already committed to paying you, and I'm not mad about it 'cause I'm here. You know? Like, I saw the price, and I booked it
Kaelynn Priest: Exactly. Yeah. Like, I want to pay you. I've,
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, I want to be. Yeah. Yeah,
Kaelynn Priest: You're not
Kylee Ann Maughan: exactly. Exactly
Kaelynn Priest: So good. you have any last words of advice that you would pass on to a woman who's listening who is a member of the church and is feeling like, "How can I make, how can I make a little bit of extra money for my family so we can have more comfort, more convenience," do [00:48:00] whatever she wants to do with that money, and is just feeling like she's at the bottom of a big mountain?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Mm-hmm.
Kaelynn Priest: what advice would you give?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, I think it's really hard to look at people that have been doing this a long time, or a short time, and they're making a lot, right? Like, seeing, like, oh, a million dollars, that feels so far away. Like I even feel that when I see some of these launches, and I've been, I've made the money. You know, I know it can work.
But like s- like seeing something so big, that high mountain, it just makes you not even wanna try. So I would go back to what I was saying earlier and just focus on what's the next step. And, like the Lord loves effort, and I think the Lord loves movement, and he can work with movement. Like, if you're moving and making decisions, he can help you feel, like he can guide you.
I feel like the Spirit guides me when I'm moving in a direction if this is good or bad. But when I'm standing still, I'm like waiting for an answer, sometimes it doesn't come. I think you just have to take action every single day. Messy action.
Doesn't have to be perfect and it might not be the right action.
And then you'll know, and then [00:49:00] you'll just do it different the next time. But don't be afraid of the action, 'cause the action and the consistency is literally what will grow your business. I was not an overnight success like what you see on Instagram. I have been doing this for 15 years, and I have a very profitable, amazing business and team and all of the things.
But I started at, charging $35 and, you know, made $10,000 my first year working my butt off, probably doing a million sessions. And then the next year it grow, grew a little bit. And then the next year, and then the next year. And then the, you know, 15 years in, like, yeah, you look at my income now, that s- seems impossible.
But if you saw, like, just the messy daily action and that's what grew my income year over year, it's just consistency. That's truly what it has been
Kaelynn Priest: I I've heard you tell the story before about your husband selling his Xbox to buy your first digital camera. Will you talk about that?
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah, so I, we were in [00:50:00] college we were almost getting... Like, it was a month before we got married. He was my fiance. And on Valentine's Day, he sold his Xbox and bought me my first DSLR camera. And it was like, Xboxes are not that much, you know, so it was like probably like a $300, $400 camera. It was not a professional grade camera.
But it was like our little gift of love story because then later that summer, I s- I did my first wedding and bought back his Xbox. And that's how I started my, yeah,
Kaelynn Priest: love
Kylee Ann Maughan: how I started my photography business, is like his belief in me. 'Cause I said, "One day I wanna do this," you know, whatever. And his belief in me.
I had the camera. I started messy. I was not good. I started on auto mode. I didn't... Like, this was before mirrorless, before presets, before Lightroom, before Instagram,
you know, before any of these things. I was literally posting on KSL to like shoot weddings for $200. Like, that's how I got started. And I, you know, I did not know what I was doing, and I don't regret it.
Like, I don't look back and be like, "Wow, who was I to start?" [00:51:00] I started and took action. And as I took action, I learned more, and was led to more, you know, classes and courses and different gear. And just day by day, step by step, grew the business.
Kaelynn Priest: Yeah. I think there's a lot that could be said about just being in the industry for long enough
and being known that you're in the industry can do a lot. Like,
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: been seasons in my, and specifically in Poppy Seed Player, I felt like would actually be for me to, like, kill this business because
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yeah.
Kaelynn Priest: it's, it's known.
It's out there. It's-
Kylee Ann Maughan: that the other day, and like, I c- I could literally never, like, I don't know how this is ever gonna end because it's just all... I mean, I've been shooting some of these families for 12 years straight. You know? They're, they're not gonna just suddenly not come to me.
You know?
Kaelynn Priest: Right
Kylee Ann Maughan: yeah. Yep
Kaelynn Priest: But I think there's magic in, pivot when you need to pivot, but also when you stick with it for long enough, you can expect [00:52:00] fruit.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes. And you can pivot within your thing. Like my, my photography, I started shooting seniors and families or whatever, and then I did weddings, and then I had babies, and I went to commercial, and now I'm doing commercial and family. Like, I feel like you can pivot within your bubble to make things work for your family, but not giving it...
Like, you don't have to completely, like, change course if you don't want to
Kaelynn Priest: yeah. So good. I just wanna say thank you for being the voice that we all need to
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes
Kaelynn Priest: the voice of the person slowing down. You're not gonna see people marketing like, "Look at me slowing
down. Buy my course about slowing
down,"
Kylee Ann Maughan: exactly.
Kaelynn Priest: No one's really talking about it, but it's so very needed, and I feel like Elder Kieran's address is not even a sign that we all need it, 'cause I think we've all needed this for a long time.
But it's, it- I do feel very strongly that you can simplify also [00:53:00] multiply your business at the same time. And so I just love that you're bringing the actual tangible Years, over years of experience proven results that that's true.
Kylee Ann Maughan: Yes, I agree. And I just think that in a world where it's do more, do more, do more, do more, it's okay to do less
Kaelynn Priest: Hey, it's kaelynn here. I hope you loved this episode of the By Their Fruits podcast. Thank you so much for listening.
