Faith, Florals, and Wallpaper: Mindy Young, founder of Indy Bloom Design

How do you build a thriving business without losing your soul in the process?

Kaelynn interviews Mindy, a northern Utah mom of four who started her entrepreneurial journey by teaching herself photography to support her young family during the recession, then stepped away after realizing her work was pulling her from her children. After praying for guidance, she sold her equipment and unexpectedly moved into digital products, teaching herself web design and earning over six figures as her templates sold while she slept. Mindy later began designing fabric and eventually hand painted floral wallpaper for children’s rooms, with a goal of helping families feel heaven in their homes. She shares how success and a six figure week left her spiritually hollow, how a platform change crashed her business, and how returning to scripture study, church service, and prioritizing God helped her rebuild, serve customers deeply, and pursue a multi million dollar vision.
